G.O.U.T.
So it was about 3 months ago that my test results came back and the nurse from my doctor's office called and said "Adeile your tests came back and your uric acid is very high, your chances of getting gout are high so we want to prescribe alloprunol to control that"... 2 days later I had my 1st GOUT attack.
Lets just educate ourselves...
Q: What is GOUT?
Medical Answer: A painful form of arthritis that is caused by high uric acid levels in your blood (hyperuricemia).
DELL's Answer: AN EXTREMELY PAINFUL NUISANCE IN YOUR JOINTS... IT EFFING HURTS!!!
I've been getting gout attacks for about 3 months and I hate it. I mean seriously I am trying to avoid foods that cause this but it seems like EVERYTHING makes these flares happen. I need to just eat lettuce and drink water!! :-(
Well I hope that I can change my diet for good to actually not worry about GOUT!! Medication is not working... I need something stronger!!!!
*sighs*

Strength
"Be strong"
"You need to stay strong for your family"
"You need to be strong for your grandma & grandpa"
Where am I going to find the strength to be THAT strong? I always tell people to be strong and people do the same to me... but really how can you be strong with such heavy heartaches, pain, uncertainty, cloudiness, impatience, tears, questions, and so forth?
I love how families come together to gain strength, but it drains people. I will try... to be strong. But there are no guarantees.

Volleyball
SO majority of my friends/family know that my life from mid August until December is packed with un exuberance of VOLLEYBALL. I really have no "outside" life other then volleyball, because I put so much energy into it I don't really do anything else. Just to stay focused and REST when needed. I do however feel like I neglect my outside social life (friends) and memorable moments (family) for this part time job of mine, but in the end I know they would understand.
This year was probably the most hectic year ever for me... and its not done yet. I started off AUGUST 16th with high school tryouts, and then onward it went. With high school practice EVERYDAY after a 8 hour day in the office, and then in September started middle school. YES middle school. I never played organized sports FOR my middle school, but the district I am in provides this for their middle schools with about 10 different sports, and it is an experience they will never forget! It gets them ready for high school and so forth. But I ran that program this year and I was not planning on it, but I tried and it was really hard to work out middle school & high school and work my regular job. I was so burnt at the end of the day!!!
The entire month of October I did volleyball for almost 30 days straight. Oh and did I mention I was diagnosed with gout and the entire month of October I had a gout flare that never went away?? I mean it was the worst experience ever. Trying to coach volleyball while barely even being able to STAND!!! I did it though... and I still am doing it. I get the flare up often and it really really takes a lot out of me. But yeah that was that with gout!!! *rolls my eyes*
November is here and my JV high school team is done for the season and they finished with a winning record. I was definitely proud of their hard work and perservance during this season, because honestly I wasn't sure how we were going to do with the skill of my team being spread out, but they definitely worked extremely hard and we finished with a win against a team we lost to earlier in the season.
With high school & middle school finishing up CLUB season begins. I am extremely excited for this season because we will be travleing to LA/OC areas and even Phoniex. My evenings will be free of volleyball for the most part. I love coaching these girls and it is a great experience, but it is hard work. When I was younger I would have never realized how much work is put into coaching, until these past few years. I just hope these girls take what we teach them and flourish. I have seen a lot of the girls excel and that is where the gratification comes from I guess.. just their starting points and how they progress over the years.
Well thats it on volleyball... tryouts are almost over and then the teams will be situated. I am extremely happy and sad at the same time, because the group of girls I had were so much fun and although we had a lot of rough points in the season, they progressed and I am so happy for that. Now.... on to club!!!

Best Aunty EVER!
Well well well...
I have finally made it back to my BLOGG and boy has the year flew by! Its already August and we're in the 4th week and there are only 2 days in the last week of August!! PHEW time flies!!! (Literally)
Well I've made it through two weddings and lets just say... with out any regrets, I am glad it is OVER! I enjoyed both weddings I was in and I'm glad to have put it all behind and keep it as a memory. Congratulations to Owen & Leilani AHMU (my brother & his beautiful wife) and also Congratulations to Jarret (TEE) & Naomi (OMI) SA'O!!! I am glad to have extended my family with two more members...
With that said... there will be another addition to the family come January 2011!!! Leilani & Owen are expecting their first child!!! I can not express how excited I am to finally be an "AUNTY"... I mean I am Keala & Vita's aunty, but they are my best friends children so technically they are not really my niece and nephew, but I love them just as if they were!!! But my brother's son is going to be born in January and I am going to be the best Aunty possible for the little booger!!! My prince charming is definitely a healthy baby right now and I got to hear his heart beat for the first time yesterday. I had to fight back the tears because I didn't want the doctor to think there was something wrong with me!! But I am definitely ready and willing to do whatever it is that baby boy wants and needs me for.
I've already started planning the baby shower, and although my pockets are not deep enough, I will make it happen!!! LOL No but seriously I can't wait and I am steadily going to make everything work out for my nephews arrival!!! :)
Well that is pretty much all I wanted to blog about today,.. Gotta get back to work...
:) Happy Taco Tuesday!!

REST EASY 2009.. WELCOME 2010
So its officially the 2nd day of 2010 and I'm just now getting to blogging. I've been meaning to do this a week ago, but things just get past me most of the time! *shrugs* Oh well..
Well 2009 is officially over and although I did not make any goals I do believe I accomplished quite a bit last year. I joined the gym and was faithful for 5 months, then I fell off the wagon and in those few months I lost 20 lbs, but I'm sure I've gained it all back (fail) lol. I saved a few bucks, I got a better job and settled in very well, I took chances, I moved out of the parentals, I didnt break my cell phone, and much more!! I learned so much about my self and others around me. I made a lot of spontaneous choices which ended in great memories. I actually got my lip pierced and took the wrath from dad. I had accomplished a lot but there is still a void. But I'm not really sure what it is. But its 2010 now and 2009 is long gone. So here I am ready to make my goals for this new year!
2010 goals:
1. Make my Dr. Appt for my yearly check up
2. Get my prescription filled and actually keep up with the medication
3. Go to the gym 3x a week or more
4. Save $200 a month
5. Pay 80% of the credit cards
6. Keep the car clean and shiny
7. Drink less

9. Join a sports league
10. lose 30lbs by April
11. Throw the best bridal showers ever!
12. Buy myself a Coach purse
13. Get to work on time
14. Find a Dentist & make an appt.
15. Re-tint my front windows
16. Get a Tattoo
17. Buy a TV for the room
18. Quit Smoking
19. Visit the grandparents more then usual
20. Small celebration for tbe bday
21. Finish Eclipse & Breaking Dawn
22. Clean out my closet
23. Learn to surf (again)
24. Go cruiser biking with shawtypai (and whoever else wants to go)
25. Win more games vball season then last
26. Make appt with Optometrist
27. Blogg atleast 2x a week
28. Go to Vegas just for fun
29. Keep in better touch with friends afar
30. Go to a Charger game
31. Dye my hair
32. Keep up with my nails/feet
33. Visit Barstow with Dess one of these weekends
34. Visit Northern California
35. Watch the sunset on the pier (any pier)
36. Climb up Cows Mtn.
37. Get a Black Berry phone (lol)
38. Make a diet plan and stick to it.
And I cant think of any more, but hopefully I can get majority of the list done. Its a new year and although problems from 2009 can carry over, I think I'm in a great position with great people. I pray everyone had a blessed New Years and I only wish the best for all of you reading this, in this upcoming year!
