So it was about 3 months ago that my test results came back and the nurse from my doctor's office called and said "Adeile your tests came back and your uric acid is very high, your chances of getting gout are high so we want to prescribe alloprunol to control that"... 2 days later I had my 1st GOUT attack.
Lets just educate ourselves...
Q: What is GOUT?
Medical Answer: A painful form of arthritis that is caused by high uric acid levels in your blood (hyperuricemia).
DELL's Answer: AN EXTREMELY PAINFUL NUISANCE IN YOUR JOINTS... IT EFFING HURTS!!!
I've been getting gout attacks for about 3 months and I hate it. I mean seriously I am trying to avoid foods that cause this but it seems like EVERYTHING makes these flares happen. I need to just eat lettuce and drink water!! :-(
Well I hope that I can change my diet for good to actually not worry about GOUT!! Medication is not working... I need something stronger!!!!
*sighs*
