Extended Challenge

Alright...

So since March 21st I had completed my 30 day challenge! I went faithfully for 28 days... I hurt my achilles and could barely walk! Although I didn't work out 30 days straight I went right back to working out on a bum ankle. I just sat on a stationery bike and did it for an hour. Minimal pain. As soon as my ankle was at 80% I was back at it. I did not complete the squat challenge, but my ankle did not allow it.

I have not weighed myself but mid way through the challenge I lost 5 lbs so I'm sure I have lost a few lbs... at least I'm hoping.

I have made working out daily a habit. ALL GAS NO BREAKs has been my motto since my ankle got better. I have been running about 4-5 miles a day on the elliptical and then doing Nike Training Camp circuits through my handy dandy app I downloaded! I absolutely LOVE this app and although some of the work out is hard I try to push through the 15-30 minute circuits.

I was introduced to Cross Fit, which is a strengthening program that helps burn your fat and get you stronger with out getting too bulky.  I thought about it and judged it to being way too hard but after hearing about the work outs from my sister(inlaw who i just call my sister)... it made me more and more interested. I got my first taste of CF on April 13th for free at CrossFit Invictus and that place was amazing! Really motivational members and the work out was crazy!! I loved every sweaty second of it!!! I had another free class on April 20th with the potential CF box I am going to join and it was brutal, but I did it and I plan on joining come May 6th. I am going to push my body to get through this... along with that I am going to get on the PALEO DIET!! If you don't know what that is... google it or await the next few blogs on my process... I just might enlighten you.

I have always been very happy with myself... I'm not saying I'm not happy with it right now, but I am getting to a point in my life where I want to change it to be happy and HEALTHY. I recently have been taken off my medication for diabetes and my doctor informed me that I am no longer a diabetic.  I can't blame my weight or sleepiness on my diabetes... I have controlled it and I would like to keep it this way. I think jumping on the Paelo diet and continuing my workouts will definitely help me become a healthier person and I can't wait to post pictures of my transformation.

I need to set my goals and try my hardest to complete them.  I completed my 30 day challenge goal now I need to bust through this next challenge...  WHOLE 30 paleo diet... I think I can do this... I have set this goal and I hope to fit into a size 18 comfortably by this summer. I know that is not a huge goal but I was at a 22/24 now I'm at a 20 comfortably... I can get into an 18, but I definitely trim a little more off. So this is my new challenge...

Goals:

1) Complete WHOLE 30 Paleo
2) Fit into an 18 size pants
3) Hike Iron Mtn or Mt. Woodson
4) Motivate someone to live a healthier or more physical lifestyle.

See you guys in a month! :)
