Randomness at it's best...
So I have been slacking with blogging and all that, I just haven't really had the time or energy to sit here and write/type about just everyday life I guess. So here I am... trying to avoid all this work on my desk, but just for a little bit. At least 15 minutes!!!
So w/in the past year I have been pretty busy. I have fallen in love. I get to be with this new love every day, whether it be early in the morning or when I get off I get to jump in there just get my love on for about an hour or so... CROSSFIT... has become the new beau!! Literally. I go either at 5:30am or 4:00pm every day and just get in there and do the WODs (Work Outs of the Day) and if I have time I stay a little longer and work on other movements. It will be our 1 year anniversary next month and I'm excited to celebrate that day with the FILTHY 50 that day!! I'll probably die and it will probably take me forever, but the thing is... I am proud to have stuck to one form of fitness for an entire year!!
I have learned a lot about myself in regards to working out and having to push myself to get better and stronger. I love lifting and I initially didn't want to get bulky, but I don't want to get SKINNY... I just want to be healthy and fit. I believe that I won't bulk up, but I will gain a lot of muscle.
I plan on continuing crossfit for another year on top of doing some cardio outside of the box. I was running 4 miles last year every day and I think I was over doing it, especially with my weight and so forth. I am going to incorporate atleast 2-3 miles every other day, but lately I just haven't had the time, so I need to make the time... I really hate running and I'm sure there are other things I can do but until I become a member at another gym running outside is just going to have to do... I am looking forward to shedding some fat and just getting leaner. Hopefully my eating can get under control, because I have been eating horrible for the last few days.and I've already had a shitty start to this week. Paleo eating needs to be incorporated and maybe Eat to Perform can help me out with this. Okie dokie... thats all for now..> i need to get back to work.
